Basic Operative Unit for Risk Management

The general purpose of the Operative Unit is to develop an Authority risk management system that aims to:

• Improve patients safety and satisfaction;
• Improve the safety of the health workers and, more broadly, of all the personnel;
• Reduce the possibilities of litigations between patients and ASP;
• Support the professional activity of all the personnel;
• Enhance A.S.P. Authority image and patients trust.

In order to achieve this purpose, the Risk Management:

• Assesses general and clinical risk magnitude;
• Defines and organizes the information flows related to risk;
• Processes and interprets risk-related data;
• Analyzes potentially harmful events;
• Performs corrective actions;
• Performs preventive actions;
• Manages the communication of informations related to hospital risk.
