Basic Operative Unit for Building Maintenance, Systems and Planning
The Advanced Operative Unit for Technical Services oversees the design of construction works; it manages and monitors works and supervises external projects. Moreover, it ensures the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the assets, as well as the installation and maintenance of systems and of medical and non-medical equipment, including that of high-technology.
It draws up the triennial planning and the annual list of works; it performs planning, inspection and design activities (preparation of technical guidelines, bill of quantities, project drawings and of all the documents provided for by the regulations on the subject of public works). It carries out the awarding of the tender processes related to the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the real estate assets.
It manages the car fleet of the Authority, the administration and monitoring of the expenditures on services (gas, electricity, telephony, water), the maintenance of elevators and the fire prevention service.
Moreover, it performs activities aimed at institutional accreditation. It performs tests, as well as functionality and safety controls on biomedical equipment, and manages the related inventory. It periodically monitors the compliance of the assets to the regulations in force, by analyzing their adequacy and obsolescence.
