Outpatient Service of diagnosis and follow-up of celiac disease for adults and children.

The outpatient clinic is open on Wednesday and Friday.
It provides the following services:

• Gastroenterological examinations;
• Blood tests;
• Anti-transglutaminase antibodies;
• Anti-deamidated gliadin antibodies;
• Anti-endomysial antibodies;
• HLA determination;
• Follow-up examinations;
• Esophagogastroduodenoscopy with biopsy sampling (under sedation for pediatric patients);
• Histological examinations;
• Nutritional counseling (in collaboration with AIC Sicilia onlus).
