A.S.P. carries out specific interventions aimed at the protection of minors and, in particular, aimed at combating minors maltreatment and abuse. Minors maltreatment and abuse are a complicated and multidimensional phenomenon, that require an integrated approach between the different components of the Authority and the other administrations.
Guidelines of the Region of Sicily for the planning of the multidisciplinary interventions of the Healthcare Services, aimed at child protection and at the care of minors who have been victim or who are at risk of violence.
Who can be contacted?
Operators of Family Counseling Centers and of Child Neuropsychiatry Services, Pediatricians, General Practitioners, E.R., Social Services of the Municipality of residence, Law Enforcement, Public Prosecutor's Office, Juvenile Court.
How to contact us
The operators of Child Neuropsychiatry and of Family Counseling Centers are on duty and can be contacted by the public from Monday to Friday. Two afternoon shifts are provided for, in days defined according to the District and to the offices that provide the service.
