The State-Regions agreement of the 21st of December 2017, pertaining the extension of the operativeness of the Prevention National Plan for the years 2014 - 2018 to the 31st of December 2019 and the modification of the Prevention Regional Plans 2014 - 2018, by which it was agreed to start the work for the development of the Prevention National Plan 2020 - 2025:
- defines the priority of the interventions and the actions to be undertaken for the upcoming year in the region, which are entirely based on the principles and the vision of the Prevention National Plan 2020-2025;
- is an essential tool that provides useful guidelines that support territorial institutions in their activities of promotion of health, communication and prevention;
- gives the opportunity to anticipate the changes which are provided for by the Prevention National Plan, by supporting the territory within the boundaries of the General Objectives included in this document;
- is connected to the Communication plan, it is related to all the prevention priorities;
- pursues the gender perspective as a change of the cultural paradigm, in order to combat inequalities and to make treatments more appropriate.
