The Department of Maternity Care and Pediatrics includes all the Divisions of the Authority that deal with the health of women and children.
It has the purpose of improving clinical and healthcare practices, by favoring the acquisition and the preservation of the appropriate technical and professional competences, and by defining care pathways, in order to reduce dissimilarities.
Objectives are pursued by means of the identification of shared diagnostic and treatment processes, the development of procedures and guidelines for care activities, clinical research and sharing of knowledge.
