A.S.P. Ragusa, coherently with regional and national legislation, has structured the Press Office. It plays a crucial role in the management of the information and creates integration and planning mechanisms of the Authority communication strategy, by using modern communication instruments.
The main task of the Press Office is to ensure the necessary informations about the activities of the Authority to the citizenry, precisely and accurately. The Press Office verifies that the news spread by media do not conflict with the necessity of protection of both patients and professionals. The right to report news is respected by ensuring tranparency, and, at the same time, the privacy of the patients is protected by avoiding the spread of news related to sensitive data regarding the health conditions of the patients under the care of the health services.
These activities are carried out coordinately and professionally.

It manages the daily press review and an Official Journal that deals with healthcare themes.
The Authority Press Office is a context in which news, projects, initiatives and activities that represent useful means of information within and outside the Authority are valorized, by giving value to the work of collaborators and ensuring the respect of the necessary transparency and information.
