The Basic Operative Unit reports directly to the General Manager, in accordance with the Law 30/93 and the Healthcare Regional Plan 2000-2002, it supports the Authority Healthcare Management and performs the duties which are specified in the article 18, paragraph 6 of the aforementioned Regional Law.
Moreover, it deals with the activities related to the governance of Authority information and of the plans which are aimed at ensuring the univocity, the validity and the promptness of information, within the organization and management of the Authority information system.
It performs the following duties:- The regular and prompt transmission of the information flows prescribed by the regulations in force to the Ministry and the Region;
- I.S.T.A.T. forms management;
- Transmission of Hospital Discharge Forms record layouts;
- IVG forms;
- Processing of the forms related to Hospital activities monitoring;
- Management of the internal phases of Hospital Discharge Forms flow, in collaboration with hospitals;
- D.R.G. pricing;
- Supervision of Hospital Discharge Forms coding;
- Reporting, addressed to Operative Units and Management Bodies;
- Collaboration with Primary Care Medicine for the Hospital Discharge Forms of private clinics;
- Collection, processing and reporting concerning the waiting lists of Authority Reservation Centers;
- Management of the forms related to hospital services for external persons;
- Hospital Discharge Forms pricing for EU workers and foreign citizens;
- Collection, processing and reporting related to services for hospitals internal persons.
